Harbor Entrance
Entrance to the lake from the harbor.
Grandpa is sitting right out on the edge of the entrance to the lake. You can see the high ice on the other side of the opening.
Grandpa is headed out onto the lake. We're glad he didn't fall through.
Grandpa is out on the lake at the entrance to the harbor. The great big pile of ice on the other side is huge. You'll see close-up pictures of them further down.
You can see how thick the ice is. (As thick as Grandma's head!)
Grandpa is headed out across the bay towards the new jetty. He gave me the keys just in case!! We're glad it held.
You can see how the ice has pushed up these large pieces of concrete and rock and pushed over the trees.
Do you think I can make it down?
Grandpa in the ice!
This is looking on the side where the Provo River comes into the lake so the water is open. On the other side of where we are standing is the completely frozen bay.
We're on the jetty on our way to the BIG pile.
Grandpa in the ice pile
Grandpa climbing the BIG HUGE ice pile. (We were thinking this would be a bad time for an earthquake!)
View of Timp from the big ice pile.
Looking back at the Big Huge ice pile. It's getting dark and some places on the jetty we have to use rocks as stepping stones to get across some large sections of ice water!
Love this view!
Some beautiful sunset shots from the jetty rocks across the lake.Hope you enjoyed our fun time. We loved it and had a wonderful time on our beautiful lake. We'll think about the great time we had this summer as we head out onto the lake when the temperature is about 50-60 degrees warmer.
Love you all soooooooooooooooooo much.

Wow! Those are some really cool pictures. It looks as if you are on a quick stop from an Alaskan cruise. Looks like lots of fun!
Awesome pics! It does look as if you're off in some remote cold region. We're glad you didn't fall through the ice!!
Hey, that looks amazing! I can't even imagine what that is like when it is mid-80's here today! But I honestly miss the winter, snow, and seasons. What a sight, can't wait to maybe hit you up for a boat ride this summer???
It is so cool out there. We went out as far as we could toward the first jetty and the kids had a ball climbing all over. Thanks for the FYI! I'll have to post a few of our pics. Love you!
